Carters Country Store

Carters Country Store is run by Dwain and Carol Carter. The store was built in the early 1900's and was originally named Spencer Grocery. It was a small grocery store and was in operation until 1963. After that it was used for storage and was overgrown and in need of repair. After we purchased the property in November 2004, we rebuilt the front porch, replaced windows, did lots of cleaning and reopened the store.

We are currently open the first weekend of every month from 8-5. We carry second hand household items, furniture, clothes, knic knacs, etc. We also carry homemade candles, aprons, pillows, wall decorations, silverware windchimes and stained glass.

We also are an Ebay Trading Assistant. We normally charge 20% of the sales price and listing fees. Our Ebay feedback is 99.9%. Stop by during one of our monthly sales or call us to set up an appointment. Give us a try, you won't be sorry.

We accept cash, checks, and paypal.
